35-Point Performance
Andy Cleaves
' 35-point performance in last Wednesday's win over Cal State San Bernardino was one for the ages. It's the most points scored by a Warrior since Cameron Quick scored 38 on Feb. 2, 2007 against UC San Diego (in four OTs). The points total is actually the most in a regulation game since Jared Gibson scored 37 points on Feb. 20, 1999.

How Did Cleaves Do it?
After having his first three-point attempt blocked to open the game, Andy Cleaves hardly missed again. He made five consecutive three-point tries en route to a seven three-pointer, 11 of 16 from the floor, night. He also made 6 of 9 free throws to add to his totals in his Fitzpatrick Arena debut.

Triple-Double
Ty Davis
also had a huge night against Cal State San Bernardino last Wednesday as the junior guard turned in the program's first triple-double in nearly 15 years. Davis scored 12 points, pulled 10 boards and had 10 assists for the Warriors' first triple-double since March 8, 2003, when Ira Taylor netted 20 points with 11 rebounds and 10 assists (also against CSUSB).

Tons of Scoring
The 96 points scored by the team last Wednesday night was the most since a 108-100 overtime win over Humboldt State on Feb. 19, 2016. It is the most points scored in a regulation game since Dec. 20, 2013 (a 104-53 win over Pacifica). That points-total is also the most in a CCAA game since a 96-85 win over Cal State Monterey Bay on Feb. 24, 2012.

Night-and-Day
Unfortunately, the high-flying offense was limited last Saturday when Cal Poly Pomona put the breaks on the pace of the game. The Warriors shot just 27.7 percent (47.8 percent against CSUSB) and scored just 46 points. The 27.7 percent shooting was the lowest total since Jan. 7, 2016, in a loss at Cal Poly Pomona when the Warriors shot 26.0 percent that night.

Hitting From Distance
The Warriors have made 37 three-pointers after four games this season and is third in the CCAA with 10 three's per game. Stan State is shooting at a 33.3 percent clip, 37 of 111 from the arch … Andy Cleaves (8) and Kaelen Mitchell (5) account for 13 of the team's 20 three-pointers during CCAA games.

3-0 Start
Stanislaus State had its first 3-0 start since the 2013-14 season, when the Warriors finished a team-record 23-9 and played in the West Region title game. The team's last 4-0 start was the 2009-10 season.

Positive Notes
So far this season, the Warriors are handling the rock as they have turned the ball over fewer times than their opponents in all four games … The Warriors are 3-0 this season when they out-rebound their opponents … Andy Cleaves' 35-point total was the second best this season by a CCAA player. Ethan Alvano scored 42 against Concordia Irvine on Nov. 11.
