TURLOCK — Led by the trio of seniors on Senior Night, the Stanislaus State women's volleyball team took control of the momentum and cruised to a well-played 3-0 victory over Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday.
The Warriors beat the Toros, 25-22, 25-19, 25-10, to improve to 9-2 here at Fitzpatrick Arena and more importantly upped their CCAA North record to 7-5 to float to the top of the standings. Stanislaus State is 12-7 overall while CSUDH snapped a three-match winning streak to drop to 11-7, 4-7 CCAA South.
Top Performers on Senior Night

Sierra Adams led all players with 11 kills, for her sixth consecutive double-digits kill match.

Jordon Wilson had six kills and hit .385 on the attack.

Cali Miller made a rare start and promptly shined. She had seven digs, and as the primary service receiver, she was 93.8 percent with one error on 15 opportunities. Miller, the only four-year player on the team, also had a service ace.

Rachel Klopfer chipped in nine kills.

Yisel Perez smacked eight kills without an error (15 attempts, .533) with two block assists.

Natasha Mich, who started in place of injured
Kiara Erving, had three block assists.

Eyriana Eatmon handled the setting full time with 29 assists and team-best eight digs.
Putting the Set Away
• Unlike Friday night against Cal State L.A., the Warriors held on to leads and put the match away.
• Up 20-15, CSUDH started to rally and was within one twice. But Stan State scored four of final six points for the set one win.
• Up three points late, the Warriors bounced back from a service error to score three straight points to win set two.
• Stan State dominated set three and was ahead 16-4 after a 7-0 run to run away. The Warriors closed out the match with six consecutive points for the 25-10 win.

Team Stats
• The Warriors collectively hit .322 on the night, including a hot .429 in the third and final set.
• Without the blocking game, the Warriors used the team defense with 43 digs. Everyone on the court had at least a block and three Warriors had seven or more.
Up Next
Stanislaus will have to be road Warriors with five of the final six regular season matches away from Fitzpatrick Arena. The first trip is Sonoma-Humboldt State next weekend.
