LEADING DEFENDERS
WORDS FROM HEAD COACH WAYMAN STRICKLAND
"We played fairly well today. We were able to play everyone, take care of the ball with only 7 turnovers for the game and forced 20. It was a great opportunity to get rid of our first game nerves again a quality team. It was a situation where we need to do things properly or we would be unsuccessful."
"So now we have some good things on film to help us improve. It was a great platform for us to test ourselves, gauge where we are, make adjustments and add to our understanding of how we need to focus, anticipate and execute in game situations."
