SAN FRANCSICO – The Gators battled with the Warriors but that wasn't enough to stop Stan State from winning the game late Friday afternoon. The Warriors netted two goals to win the game 2-1 over the Gators.
The Warriors succeed to 2-1-0 in conference and are now 7-1-0 overall. The Gators fall to 0-2-0 in the CCAA and have an overall record of 2-4-1.
GOOOOOOOOOALS
- The Warriors were on the board first when Selia Torres scored from low center with an assist from Ilena Rivera in the 7th minute.
- Alyna Flores scored a goal for the Gators in the 15th minute with an assist from Sydney Yuen.
- Sadie Ortiz scored late in the first half to bring the Warriors ahead in the 31st minute! Ilena Rivera came in with her second assist in the game.
HERRMAN WITH THE STRONG DEFENSE
- Alyssa Herrman played a near perfect game only allowing one goal and only having to make one save.

NOTEWORTHY
- Rivera tied her season high in assists with two. So far this season she has six assists which is already an overall season best for Rivera. In 2017, she had three and in 2018 she had two.
- The Warriors are 19-6-6 against the Gators since they first met in September ,1998.
- The last time the two teams met, the Warriors lost 0-1 in October, 2018. This was the Warriors first loss to the Gators since 2000.
