SEATTLE — It got a little dicey near the end, but the Stanislaus State men's basketball team picked up a great victory on the road against one of the best teams in the GNAC.
The Warriors held off a late surge by the host team as they beat Seattle Pacific, 75-71, Tuesday afternoon at Brougham Pavilion.
The win is Stanislaus State's first in the Pacific Northwest during the CCAA era.

Ty Davis had a great night all around. He led all scorers with 22 points, including 8 of 8 from the free throw line. He also grabbed six rebounds, dished five assists and had three steals to lead the team.

Vida Faniel scored 12 points on 4 of 13 shooting.

Luis Salgado pulled a team-best eight rebounds to go with seven points.

Xavier Francois scored five of his 11 points from the foul line.
