ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Stanislaus State tennis took another win today over the Trailblazers of Dixie State 4-1, to take home their second win of the Trailblazer invite in Utah.
 
The Warriors were able to clinch the win after Stan State won four sets before Dixie State, leaving two singles matches unfinished.

At No. 1 doubles, Cassidy Ferrell and Maria Ochoa unfortunately fell to Yolena Carlon and Isable Heras, 0-6. Despite this loss, the other doubles teams for Stan State were able to win their matches. Kayla Nguyen and Megan Hagerty won 6-2, and Taylor Galya with Amila Gogalija won 6-0.  

Cassidy Ferrell won her second singles match against No.1 spot Yolena Carlon, 6-1, 6-1. Amila Gogalija won her match going three rounds, 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. Taylor Galya was the third Warrior to win in singles, 6-3, 6-2.

It was the Trailblazers's first loss this season.
 
The Warriors will take on Colorado Mesa tomorrow at 11 a.m. followed by a match against Metro State at 2 p.m.
