TURLOCK –The Warriors lost to the Toros of Cal State Dominguez Hills Saturday night, 61-75. With the loss, the women's basketball team finishes their season 9-17 overall and 8-14 in conference. Unfortunately, the team will no longer be seen traveling to the CCAA tournament this upcoming week.
Cal State Dominguez Hills is 14-14 overall and 10-12 in the CCAA, with their chances of being in the tournament still on the horizon contingent on other games played Saturday as well.
The Warriors started out the game with a rough 11-point deficit in the first few minutes and were not able to come back from there. They shot 33.3 percent from the three-point arc and 59.1 percent from the field. They struggled from the field shooting 27.6 percent going 21 for 76 overall.
Brittney Livingston led the offense with her season high of 18 points. Livingston also had three steals.
Angelica Baylon had her best game with seven rebounds and an incredible 11 assists.
Kaleigh Taylor led in rebounds have nine total on Saturday night. Three Warriors tied with seven rebounds;

The team said goodbye to Seniors,
Samantha Rudd and
Caprina Pipion as they played in their last Warrior basketball game.
Zhane Carter scored 19 for the Toros and had two assists. Behind her was Ahlisha Henderson with a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds. Tylore Bell scored a 11 and Paradise Hanchett had 11 rebounds.
The Warriors scored 26 points in the paint and 14 off turnovers. CSUDH scored 32 points in the paint and also had 14 turnovers.
The Warriors finished out their season with chances to be in the CCAA Tournament and will have hopes to return better and stronger next season to do so.
