TURLOCK—The Warriors took on the University of Hawaii at Hilo on Friday morning clinching the match 4-1. Stanislaus State reached four wins before Hawaii Hilo and they were able to close up the match earlier than expected.
 
No. 2 and No.3 players, Amila Gogalija and Maria Ochoa, left their matched unfinished due to the clinch rule.
 
Two doubles teams came away with wins earning Stan State the point. Cassidy Ferrell and Kayla Nguyen won at No. 1 against Anouk Van Hoek and Carmelle Joyner, 6-1. At No. 3 doubles, Amila Gogalija and Taylor Galya won their match 6-2.
 
Cassidy Ferrell won her match against the Vulcan's No.1 singles player, Marina Colvee; 6-3, 6-0. At No. 5 singles, Sylvana Talamantes beat Hina Nishida; 6-2, 6-1. The fourth point came from No. 6 Taylor Galya when she beat Gabr Aguilar Lawalor in two sets at 6-4, 6-1.
 
The Warriors now flip their record and have 6-5 win/loss record. The women currently have a three-game winning streak.
 
The team will travel to Oakland to take on Holy Names on Sunday at 2 p.m.
