Warriors end season with victory at Sonoma State

ROHNERT PARK  — The Warriors split in their last doubleheader of the season with a win to take home in their last game. The Warriors close out their season with an overall record of 23-32 and conference record of 16-24. 

Stan State started off rough with a 0-1 loss against the Seawolves and only have three hits. Camille Rodriguez pitched seven innings and struck out three. 

Megan Stacy went 2 for 3 in game one with two strikeouts after pitching five innings. Lia Tom went 1 for 2. Alexus Martinez stole one base. 

For game two, Kylie Ragsdale pitched her last game earning the win and striking out one. Ragsdale had a great game as she held the Seawolves to one run, five hits and only walked three. Ragsdale ended her career as a Warrior with a 9-9 record in the 2019 season. 

The Warriors scored three in the first inning and went unanswered until the Seawolves scored one in the bottom of the sixth. 

Melissa Spencer went 1 for 3 with one run. Not only did Ragsdale have a great game pitching but she also went 1 for 3 with two RBI as well. Alexus Martinez had another hit to finish her career with school record 253. Kayla Fajardo also went 1 for 3. Desiree Gonzalez had an RBI. 

Overall, the Warriors went 1-3 with the Seawolves but ended on a high-note with their win.
