TURLOCK—The tennis team had a full sweep on the Slugs of UC Santa Cruz, Sunday, as they went 7-0 overall. The women are back to winning and did a great job in all of their matches on Sunday afternoon.
 
All three doubles won as well as all six singles matches.
 
At No. 1 doubles, Cassidy Ferrell and Kayla Nguyen defeated Ashley Isaac and Isabelle Brown, 6-2. Maria Ochoa and Megan Hagerty won 7-5 at No. 2 while Amila Gogalija and Taylor Galya won at No. 3, 6-0.
 
Cassidy Ferrell defeated No. 1 Ashley Isaac in two sets, 6-1, 6-1. At No. 2, Maria Ochoa also finished in two sets, 6-2, 6-2. Kayla Nguyen brought home a win in three, 6-0, 2-6, 6-3. At No. 4, Sylvana Talamantes won 6-0, 6-0. Megan Hagerty was brought in to play a singles match and won hers against Vivian Lee, 7-5, 7-5. Brianna Hooks won in the six spot, 6-4, 6-3.
 
The women did a great job bringing home wins in both the singles and doubles competitions.
 
The Warriors will be back home on April 13 to take on Nevada at Noon.
