SAN FRANCISCO -- Unable to get consistent defense to back up an improved offense on the night, the Stanislaus State women's volleyball team dropped a three-set match at San Francisco State Friday night.
The Gators were just a few rallies better than the Warriors in the 25-23, 25-18, 25-19, decision inside The Swamp.
The Warriors dropped their seasonal record to 6-4 overall and 1-2 in the CCAA while the up-start SF State Gators upped their marks to 9-3, 2-1 CCAA.

Macky Morris was the closest to double digits in kills with nine while hitting a .231 clip. She added 10 digs on defense.

Kiara Erving was proficient with a .429 attacking percentage. She had seven kills on 14 swings and a block.

Sierra Adams also had seven kills.

Breanna Cannon had 29 assists on the night.

Krista Hernandez led the team with 16 digs.
