Warriors use Hawaiian paradise to their advantage and take down Vulcans

Kohala Coast, HAWAII –The Warriors have traveled to the beautiful state of Hawaii to partake in three matches in Kohala Coast. On Friday, the women's tennis team took on Hawaii Hilo and beat them 4-3. Even though the Vulcans took the doubles point, the Warriors dominated in the singles competition.

Ashley Isaac had another excellent match at No. 1 singles taking down Marina Colvee 7-6, with a tiebreaker 7-3 and finishing that match 6-0.

Megan Hagerty won at No. 2 against Sandra Dafincescu in three. Tay Cazarin took down Carmelle Joyner in two, 6-4, 6-2. Last to take a singles win was Kate Bolton when she took down Irena Le in three sets.

Tay Cazarin and Megan Hagerty won at No. 2 doubles when they beat Marina Colvee and Irena Le, 6-2.

The team continues their play on Saturday, February 15 when they play Chaminade University at 3:30 p.m. HST; 5:30 p.m. PST.
