TURLOCK –The Warriors faced another tough loss but kept up with the ranked Coyotes team on Saturday night. The Warriors fell in three sets (25-18, 27-25, 25-21).
The Warriors are now 4-6 as the Coyotes rise to 7-3.
After losing the first by seven, the Warriors stayed neck and neck with the Yotes as they almost took the win in that second set. They would go point for point in that set and the third set saw no difference.
Chelsey was great on defense with 20 digs. She also had two assists and one ace. Also on the assists tonight were
Haley Burdo with 18 and
Ambria Schneringer with 12. Burdo also had ten digs. At the net with nine kills was
Yisel Perez.
Although it was a loss, Stan State held their own against one of the biggest anticipated match-ups.
Frontrunners for the Yotes were Marley Nunlee with 35 assists, Asia Clarke with 15 digs and Alexis Cardoza with 13 kills.

The Warriors will head to Arcata on September 24 where they will take on the Jacks of Humboldt State at 5 p.m.
