LAST MATCH:Â The Warriors stepped up big in a win over #13 Cal State San Bernardino at home this past weekend. The five-set victory is tied for the program's highest ranked win since 2008 when the team took down #13 Cal State LA.

UPDATE ON THE WARRIORS:Â The Warriors split the home stand 1-1 and are now 16-6 overall, 6-3 at home, and 6-3 on the road.Â

AMONGST THE CCAA LEADERS:Â Despite the big win, the team remains at the #5 spot in the CCAA. They are still tied with Sonoma State and San Francisco State at 7-5 in the conference and will be up against Sonoma and CCAA #3 Cal State East Bay on Thursday and Saturday. The Warriors are currently 2
nd in digs (15.65 per set) and 4
th in hitting percentage (.232).
Alex Byrd stays #2 in hitting percentage (.356) and blocks (1.15/set).
Haley Burdo reaches her career 1,000 assists mark to rank 9
th in the conference and remains top ranked in service aces at 6
th.
Ellison Weaver also received a CCAA Offensive Player of the Week nod for her career-highs of 18 kills and 16 digs in their last match.

PIONEERS IN REVIEW:Â Cal State East Bay won their last matchup against the Warriors in Turlock 3-1, to take the first match of the season series. Junior Kara Green just received CCAA Defensive Player of the Week honors after posting two double-doubles in two matches and totaling 31 digs and five blocks for the week. On the offensive end, Sophomore Lexi Pagani is 6
thin the conference in kills, while Mia Jordan and Megan Crecelius are ranked 8
th in hitting percentage and assists.

ALL-TIME SERIES:Â Since 2007, the Pioneers are 20-15 over the Warriors, however Stan State swept the season series in the 2021 season.

COUGARS IN REVIEW:Â Cal State San Marcos took the win on the road earlier this season against the Warriors 3-1. Redshirt Junior Trinity Barr is currently 10
th in the conference (2.75 per set) and redshirt Junior Madison Turner is 6
th in assists (7.22 per set). Their team numbers in kills and hitting percentage (along with many of their other major statistics) however, are among the bottom half of the CCAA.
