SAN MARCOS, Calif. – Sophomore Middle Blocker
Autumn Kirby put together her best offensive performance of the season with a career-high nine kills on a .600 hitting percentage that made her CCAA Tournament Team honor a no-brainer. Kirby also added six total blocks, three digs, and a service ace to her match totals in the quarterfinals.
In her 25 matches played this season, Kirby collected 109 kills, 74 digs, and 75 total blocks on a 0.260 hitting percentage. The Carson, Calif. native saw a huge uptick in both her sets played and total points compared to a season ago. Her sets played increased from nine her freshman year to 94, while her total points jumped from 10 to 183. Kirby will look to fill a bigger role in the offense next season for outgoing Senior
Macky Morris, who led the team in kills during the 2022 season.
