SEATTLE, Wash.. – Stan State had ice in their veins in the final minutes at Seattle Pacific to secure the 63-62 win over the Falcons on the road.
FIRST QUARTER: Makayla Rose got to work early in the first quarter, opening up with seven points of her 21 on the night. An
Ashmeen Sran three-ball got the team tied up at 19-19 to end the first period.
SECOND QUARTER: Sran followed her first quarter trifecta with another in the opening minutes of the second. The Warriors cooled off after a hot-shooting first ten minutes, only connecting on nine points before the half. Seven straight points for the Falcons in the final minutes of the half found them up 35-28 heading into the second.
THIRD QUARTER: Knocking down her third three-pointer of the game, Sran would go on to finish with 14 points on 4-5 shooting from behind the arc. The visiting Warriors were able to close the gap within three points at the buzzer 46-49.
FOURTH QUARTER: Jadyn Patterson collected all of her eight points in the fourth quarter knocking down both of her three-point attempts. Two buckets from Rose got the game tied up at 61-61. After SPU split their free throws to go up 62-61 with only 10.5 seconds to go,
