HAYWARD — Delaney Pamplin threw another complete game Saturday and won her second game in as many days, as the Stanislaus State softball team wrapped up its 2022 season with a California Collegiate Athletic Association doubleheader split at Cal State East Bay, winning game two, 4-3, after falling in the opener, 4-0.
Â
Pamplin (11-11) won her 11th game of the year and 16th of her career with another one-run victory after also winning on Friday, 2-1.
Karli DalBianco posted two multi-hit games on Saturday, going 5 for 7 overall with two doubles and two RBIs.
Â
The Warriors finish 2022 with a 17-30 overall record and an 11-25 mark in CCAA play during head coach
Aja Scheuber's first season. Stan State was competitive all season long, even with a short-handed 22-person roster. 21 of the team's 30 defeats were by only three runs or less. The Warriors had six wins against CCAA Tournament teams, and 14 of their 18 setbacks against those top-six programs were by three runs or less.

GAME ONE
Â
Cal State East Bay (24-26, 15-21 CCAA) scored all of its game one runs in the third inning while Abby Greer held Stanislaus State scoreless and limited them to three hits. Only one of the Pioneers' four runs were earned, as they took advantage of two errors by Stan State in the third to go with three hits and a walk.
Â
DalBianco went 2 for 3 with a double.
Sarah Warden went 1 for 3.
Victoria Alarcon threw three shutout innings of relief, striking out one, walking none and only allowing two hits. Sarah Fukushima and Gabriela Rivera both had two hits for the Pioneers.
Â
GAME TWO
Â
Cal State East Bay scored three runs in the first two innings of game two and led 3-1 through three innings, looking for a sweep.
Â
Stanislaus State wouldn't have that, scoring three runs on four hits in the fourth to go ahead, 4-3.
Katie Thornsberry singled home a run to make it 3-2, then DalBianco hit his second double of the day, driving in two runs and putting Stanislaus State up, 4-3.
Â
Pamplin threw perfect fifth and sixth innings. CSUEB got the winning run on base in the seventh, but Pamplin was able to preserve the victory by getting another groundout to end the game.
Â
Lauryn Serda went 2 for 3 from the leadoff spot with a triple, RBI and a run scored.
Sheridan Gulley went 1 for 2 with a walk and a run scored.
