LAST MATCH:Â Unable to capitalize on their weekend back-to-back, the Warriors leave their home front 0-2 against San Marcos and East Bay.Â
Â
UPDATE ON THE WARRIORS:Â Â Stanislaus State now sits at 11-4 for the season with a 4-2 home record and a 3-2 record on the road. The team is about three weeks into conference play, with plenty of CCAA matches to look forward to. They have a couple of ranked opponents in the months ahead, with #20 Cal Poly Pomona and #16 Cal State San Bernardino on the October calendar.
Â
AMONGST THE CCAA LEADERS:Â Â The Warriors dropped three spots in the conference rankings, currently sitting at 6

Â
LUMBERJACKS IN REVIEW:Â Â Cal Poly Humboldt sits at the bottom of the CCAA rankings with a 0-8 record. They've only managed to get one win on the year but have faced one of the toughest schedules in the conference. The team has already taken on nationally ranked Cal Poly Pomona and Cal State San Bernardino this season in addition to a pair of losses to East Bay and San Marcos. The Lumberjacks record may not be a full representation of their potential in Thursday's matchup given their strength of schedule.
Â

th.
Â
SEAWOLVES IN REVIEW:Â Sonoma State is currently two spots below the Warriors at #8 in the conference. Their record stands at 9-5 overall, but 2-8 in the CCAA. They've racked up wins against Holy Names and San Marcos, two teams that have given Stanislaus State some recent struggles but haven't strung together too many consistent wins this year. Their Setter Brynna Slayton currently leads the conference in service aces, while five other Seawolves currently are top ten in blocks, digs, assists, kills, and hitting percentage.
Â
ALL-TIME SERIES:Â Sonoma has commanded the all-time series 4-24, winning their last three matches against Stan State. The Warriors took their last win in 2019 with a 3-2 victory at the Fitz.
