BILLINGS, Mont. --- Stanislaus State's men's and women's cross country teams will be heading to the NCAA Division II West Regional, which will take place at Amend Park in Billings, Montana. Â The men's 10k will begin at 10:00 a.m. MST (9:00 a.m. PST) followed by the women's 6k at 11:15 a.m. MST (10:15 a.m. PST). The top three teams and the top two individuals not part of a qualifying team will advance to the NCAA DII Championship.

CCAA CHAMPIONSHIPS: Stan State's women's team finished second overall out of eleven with 60 points, following Chico State (43 points).
Annie Wild was the first runner to cross the line for the Warriors in third place with a time of 21:20.3.
Jacqueline Sanchez-Silva followed in fifth at 21:38.4, and
Crystal Hernandez finished in seventh with a 22:00.7 time. All three were selected for the All-CCAA team.

The men's team earned a third place finish out of a field of nine teams with 55 points. Chico State claimed first place with 18 points.
Tanner Gerhart earned Newcomer of the Year honors with his tenth-place finish (24:34.7),
Jackson Oliveira's thirteenth-place (24:42.3) secured the Freshman of the Year award, and
Mason Oliveira finished in fifteenth (24:44.7), which earned all three runner All-CCAA honors as well.

NATIONALLY RANKED:Â With the most recent 2024 NCAA Division II Women's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll, released by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA), the Stan State women's team has been ranked 22
nd, moving up from twenty-seventh place and continuing to be in the top thirty all season. The men's Coaches' Poll has moved the Warriors from receiving votes into the twenty-ninth spot. Within the region, the women are now ranked fourth and the men retained their sixth spot.

At the 2023 DII West Regional, the Stan State women finished in ninth place (231 points) out of twenty-four teams. The men finished in eighth place (261 points) out of twenty-three teams.

rd, the NCAA Division II National Championships will take place at Arcade Creek Cross Country Course in Sacramento, Calif. The men's 10K Race begins at 10:00 a.m. PST and the women's 6K Race begins at 11:15 a.m. PST.
