TURLOCK, Calif.---  Chico State (9-5, 4-5 CCAA) scored 26 runs on 22 hits in the Wildcats' 26-4 series opening victory over the Stan State Warriors at Warrior Field this evening in Turlock, Calif.  Four Warriors had multiple-hit games in Kyle Rachels, Chris Catalano, Alex Solis, and Robert Valdivia who went a combined 10-for-17.
 
The two teams will continue the four-game series tomorrow with a 1:00 p.m. starting doubleheader.  The series will conclude with a noon starting series finale this Sunday, March 10.
