TURLOCK, Calif.---
Olivia Maragos scored twice in the opening 21 minutes and assisted on
Kyndra Obermeyer's second-half goal as Stan State women's soccer blanked Cal State Dominguez Hills 3-0 Sunday morning at Warrior Stadium.
Zara Mujica made four saves for the shutout as the Warriors completed a 2-0 opening weekend in CCAA play and improved to 3-1-2 overall and 2-0 in conference action. Cal State Dominguez Hills fell to 2-4 overall and 0-2 in the CCAA.
First Half
Stan State wasted little time taking the lead. Just 38 seconds into the match,
Aliah Avila set up Maragos for the opening goal and an early 1-0 Warrior advantage.
Mujica helped preserve the lead with saves in the sixth and 13th minutes before Stan State doubled its advantage at the 20:06 mark.
Karissa Franco assisted Maragos, who finished for her second goal of the match to make it 2-0.
The Toros generated four shots on goal during the opening half, but Mujica stopped all four attempts as the Warriors carried a two-goal advantage into halftime.
Second Half
Stan State continued to create opportunities after the break. Maragos nearly completed the hat trick in the 54th minute, but Cal State Dominguez Hills goalkeeper Marlies Nauman made the save.
The Warriors added their third goal at the 62:48 mark. Maragos set up Obermeyer, who found the back of the net for her second goal of the season to extend Stan State's lead to 3-0. Stan State's defense held Cal State Dominguez Hills without a shot on goal in the second half. Avila put two more attempts on frame over the final 25 minutes, but Nauman stopped both as the Warriors closed out their second CCAA victory in three days.
Stan State finished with a 13-5 advantage in shots and an 8-4 edge in shots on goal. Maragos and Avila each recorded three shots, all on goal. Mujica finished with four saves to earn the shutout.

- Olivia Maragos recorded the second brace of her Stan State career, scoring twice in the opening 20:06 and assisting on Kyndra Obermeyer's second-half goal for a five-point match. Her first career brace also came against Cal State Dominguez Hills on Oct. 31, 2025, in Carson.
- Aliah Avila recorded her third assist of the season and 19th of her career on Maragos' opening goal. Avila now ranks fifth by herself in Stan State history with 19 career assists and fifth with 58 career points. She also is tied for sixth with 19 career goals and tied for second with 12 career game-winning goals.
- Karissa Franco recorded her first assist of the season on Maragos' second goal.
- Kyndra Obermeyer scored her second goal of the season.
- Zara Mujica recorded four saves for her third shutout of the season and ninth of her Stan State career. She increased her career total to 97 saves, moving into a tie with Amanda Leal for ninth in program history.
- Stan State finished the opening weekend of CCAA play 2-0 after defeating Cal State Monterey Bay 2-1 on Friday and Cal State Dominguez Hills 3-0 on Sunday.
- The Warriors improved to 3-0-2 over their last five matches and have allowed just two goals during the unbeaten streak.
- Stan State recorded its first CCAA shutout of the season.
