TURLOCK, Calif.---Stan State extended its unbeaten streak to six matches and
Dylan Isasi recorded his second shutout of the season as the Warriors battled Cal State Dominguez Hills to a 0-0 draw Sunday afternoon at Warrior Stadium. The match was a rematch between the 2025 CCAA Tournament champion Warriors and the 2025 CCAA regular-season champion Toros. Stan State finished the opening weekend of CCAA play with a pair of draws and is now 2-2-4 overall and 0-0-2 in conference play.
Stan State outshot the Toros 12-8 and held a 6-4 advantage in corner kicks. The Warriors put four shots on goal while limiting CSUDH to two.
Adrian Yepez led Stan State with five shots, including two on goal, while
Emmanuel Duran and
Alexis Cervantes each put an attempt on frame.
FIRST HALF
Stan State came out on the attack, with Yepez putting a shot on goal less than three minutes into the match. He forced CSUDH goalkeeper Tiago Menezes into another save in the 19th minute.
Duran put an attempt on frame in the 27th minute before Cervantes forced Menezes into his fourth save of the half in the 32nd minute.
Jose Ponce added an attempt late in the half as Stan State finished the opening 45 minutes with a 7-3 advantage in shots.
Menezes made four saves during the half to keep the Warriors off the scoreboard, and the teams went into the break scoreless.
SECOND HALF
Stan State continued to search for the breakthrough after halftime. Yepez had two attempts during the opening eight minutes of the period before Cervantes and
Cameron Belandres added opportunities later in the half.
The Toros generated their best chances late. Isasi stopped Lucas Galarza's attempt in the 78th minute before
Eric Reis made a team save on David Politron's attempt moments later to preserve the scoreless tie.
Michael Daley had an opportunity in the 76th minute, and Stan State earned a pair of corner kicks during the final 10 minutes, but neither side was able to find the deciding goal.
