CAL STATE STANISLAUS: 2007 — Sarah Shamblin appeared in 51 games after missing part of the season due to a knee injury … had 40 hits and drove in 13 runs … second on the team with 119 assists at third base … was third on the team with seven sacrifice bunts … went 3-for-4 on Feb. 24 versus Chico State …  2006 – Shamblin started and played in 52 games ... fifth on the team with a .292 batting average ... had 11 multi-hit and four multi-RBI games ... had a pair of walks four times ... went 2-for-3 with two runs  and an RBI against UC San Diego (3/5/06) ... went 4-for-7 with four RBI and a run scored in a double header against Sonoma State (4/8/06).

MT. SAN ANTONIO COLLEGE:  An all-state and all-conference selection at Mt. San Antonio College … named to the All-State Tournament team.

HIGH SCHOOL:
A first-team all-league selection at Santiago High School (Corona) … earned a county “Golden Glove” award … a member of the all-academic team … a first-team All-Foothill Invitational team … graduated in 2003.

PERSONAL: Shamblin’s major is sociology … has an identical twin sister, Suzanne … Sarah Shamblin, daughter of Mike and Kathy Shamblin, was born in March 1, 1985 in Corona.
