Biography

Cal State Stanislaus:  Career – Kimiko Wright has appeared in 103 games and became a starter in 2008, guarding the left field … 2008 — Wright started in 52 games and committed just one error as the left fielder … turned in a great postseason and went 6-for-12 in the CCAA Tournament and 4-for-8 during the West Region tournament to finish the season on a 7-game hitting streak (12-for-24) … was 2-for-3 drove in a run and stole a base against Cal State San Bernardino on May 1 during the CCAA tournament … went 3-for-4 with a stolen base the next day against Cal State Monterey Bay … made the CCAA All-Tournament team.
2007 — Wright made 41 starts in 49 games played … was 7-for-11 in stolen base attempts … had a .959 fielding percentage … had a season high of eight assists against Cal State Bakersfield on Mar. 18 … during a four-game streak, she batted 7-for-13 with four runs and three RBIs, including a solo home run on April 13 against San Francisco State … went 2-for-3 at Humboldt State on April 29.

SACRAMENTO CITY COLLEGE:
Wright spent a season at Sacramento City College ... transferred to Cal State Stanislaus in 2006.

HIGH SCHOOL: Wright was an all-conference player in softball all four years at Rio Linda High School ... graduated in 2005.
