CAL STATE STANISLAUS: Jessica Scholl is third on the career list with 14 home runs … enters the season with 76 runs batted in, sixth on the Warriors all-time list … 2007 — Scholl played in 59 games last season … a second-team All-CCAA pick … was third on the team in RBI’s with 35 … had a .987 fielding percentage as starting catcher … had three RBI’s on two different dates during the regular season against Grand Canyon on Feb. 16 and against UC San Diego on May 3 … hit a game-winning three-run home run in the ninth inning on May 12 against UC San Diego in a West Regional tournament game … went 2-for-4 with three RBIs with a double and a home run on May 11 against UC San Diego … finished the season with six home runs, third best on the team … went 6-for-11 and drove in six runs in four games at the Schott Sports Leadoff Classic in Phoenix … 2006 – Scholl made 52 starts in 56 games played ... was the CCAA Player of the Week for Apr. 17-23 ... hit .279 and was second on the team with 36 RBI ... belted eight home runs … had an eight-game hitting streak (Apr. 13-Apr. 29) ... fifth on the squad with seven doubles .. second overall with seven home runs ... had nine multi-hit games ... drove in four runs against CSU Monterey Bay (3/19/06) and four against Cal State San Bernardino (4/22/06) going 2-for-2 with two homers …  2005 – Second on the team with a .275 batting average in 41 games played … had five multiple-hit games including going 2-for-4 and 3-for-4 in a double header against Sonoma State (4/23/05).

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year varsity softball player ... two-time first-team all-conference winner ... was voted most inspirational player two times ... elected MVP and player of the year as a senior ... served as team captain three years ... was all-academic all four years of high school ... she graduated in 2004 and her class voted her the female “Athlete of the Year.”

PERSONAL: Scholl is majoring in criminal justice ... coaches a youth softball team of 16-year olds, is the Vice President of the CSUS Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, and is a leader of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes … Jessica Alaina Renae Scholl, daughter of Alan and Suzanne Scholl, was born on March 16, 1986, in Sacramento.
