CAL STATE STANISLAUS: 2007 ­­— Marquis Fleming started on the mound 13 times for the Warriors with six complete games … was CCAA Pitcher of the Week March 27-April 1 … received All-CCAA honorable mention …  had a record of 6-5 and an ERA of 4.09 … led the team and was seventh in the conference with 94.2 innings pitched … was 3-for-10 in stolen bases allowed … was eighth in the conference with 74 strikeouts, leading the Warriors with 7.04 strikeouts per game and with 26 strikeouts looking for the season … had a season-best 12 strikeouts against Chico State on March 30 … 2006 ­— Fleming led the team in wins, strikeouts and innings pitched after posting an 8-6 record in 83 1/3 innings and striking out 65 ... made 14 starts and had three straight games with a win (Mar. 25 to Apr. 8) ... pitched a complete-game in an 8-2 win over Cal State L.A. (3/25/06) recording 11 strikeouts ... an All-CCAA honorable mention selection … 2005 — Pitched in 17 games, making 10 starts for the Warriors ... had two complete-game shutouts against Northwest Nazarene on (3/23/05) and UC San Diego (4/2/05) ... recorded two saves ... led all pitchers with 35 strikeouts... struck out five batters and gave up only two hits in his first complete game shut-out against Northwest Nazarene.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Lettered in varsity baseball three times at St. Joseph Notre Dame High School where he played for Mark Palmore ...  team captain and MVP his senior year ... first-team all-league (Bay Shore Athletic League) ... led his team to a second-place finish for the first time in five years ... graduated in 2004.

PERSONAL: Fleming is majoring in communication studies ... Marquis Deshun Fleming, son of Mark and Leslie Fleming was born Sept. 11, 1986, in Oakland.
