CAL STATE STANISLAUS: April Montgomery turned in a fast time of 2:16.23 in the 800m run during the Indoor season this year after a solid season on the cross country team … her Indoor 800m time is just two seconds off the provisional qualifying mark … her best 6K cross country time in 2007 was 23:34, posted at the NCAA West Regionals in Boise.
SONOMA STATE: Montgomery ran cross country and track & field for two years … was SSU’s top finisher at the CCAA Championship with a time of 25:20.20 … top SSU runner in three of five meets and was second in the two ... recieved All-Academic in 2006 ... recieved the MVP award in 2006 for cross country ... transfered in 2007.
