Cal State Stanislaus: Career – Britney Borba set CSUS records with strikeouts in a season (46) in 2008 … 2008 – Borba played and started in all 54 games last year and was the Warriors’ everyday right fielder … led team with 14 stolen bases … batted .205 with 32 hits and drove in 12 runs … was 4-for-4 and stole two bases on Feb. 4, 2008, vs. Notre Dame de Namur … made the Dean’s List.

MODESTO JUNIOR COLLEGE:  Borba was an all-league selection for both softball and basketball … received the co-MVP award … transferred to Cal State Stanislaus in 2007.

HIGH SCHOOL: Borba was a member of the TVL softball championship team every year she attended Patterson High School … all-league selection for three years in both softball and basketball … graduated in 2005.

PERSONAL: Borba is majoring in communications … enjoys outdoor activities such as horse riding, riding dirt bikes and snowboarding … Britney Renee Borba, daughter of Rocky and Tammy Borba, was born July 6, 1987, in Patterson.
