CAL STATE STANISLAUS:  2010 – Leonard Giammanco was named to the NCBWA All West Region first team and America Baseball Coaches Association All West Region second team … led team with a 2.05 earned run average … 48 1/3 innings pitched in which he allowed just 11 earned runs and 42 hits … posted a 2-0 record with three saves (all during CCAA play) … was named to the All-CCAA first team … pitched 5 2/3 innings in relief on March 5 without giving up a run while striking out six batters … made a start on May 1 at Cal State Dominguez Hills (no decision) … recorded first save on March 26 vs. Cal State Monterey Bay.

JUNIOR COLLEGE: Giammanco participated in baseball from 2007-2009, earning team Pitcher of the Year in 2009 … played for coach Dan Teresa at Hartnell College in Salinas … transferred in 2009.

HIGH SCHOOL: Giammanco played baseball all four years at Monterey High School where he played for coach Mike Groves … during his time at MHS, was named Monterey Bay League Pitcher of the Year, Monterey Bay League All-Conference First-Team and Monterey All-County First-Team … graduated in 2007.

PERSONAL:  Giammanco is majoring in kinesiology … Leonard Giammanco, the son of Vince and Annie Giammanco, was born on April 6, 1989, in Monterey.
