HIGH SCHOOL: Vorderbruegge set the Hawaii high school state record in winning the 3,000-meter wiith a time of 8:58.14 in his senior track & field season at Kaiser High School in Honolulu, Hawaii ... he only lost one race in the 2008 season ... Was the Kaiser High School Scholar-Athlete of the Year in 2008, co-valedictorian, and a team captain ... His High school personal bests were 1:58 in the 800-meter and 4:13 in the 1,500-meter ...
