Stanislaus State Athletics

Athletics Academic Advisor, Shealyn Craven, provides academic, personal, learning and career-related advising on an individual or small group basis to student athletes. The Athletics Academic Advisor supervises the athletic academic program and determines and monitors student-athlete NCAA and CCAA academic eligibility in collaboration with coaches and campus staff.

Success in the classroom for student-athletes is a top priority for Warrior Athletics. Our student athletes graduate at a higher rate than the general student body and have consistently posted a strong grade point average. 

Student-athletes are strongly encouraged to visit both the Athletics Academic Advisor and their chosen major department advisor/faculty each semester before registering for classes.
