Dylan DeBrouwer joined the Stan State baseball coaching staff as an assistant coach for the 2026-27 academic year. He brings coaching experience at the NCAA Division I, NCAA Division III and NAIA levels, along with previous collegiate and summer league head coaching experience.
Prior to joining Stan State, DeBrouwer served as the head coach of the Brooks Bombers of the Western Canadian Baseball League during the 2025 season. He previously served as the head baseball coach at the University of Saint Katherine during the 2022-23 academic year.
Before Saint Katherine, DeBrouwer spent three seasons as an assistant coach at Westmont College from 2020-22. He helped the Warriors capture the 2022 Golden State Athletic Conference championship and advance to the NAIA World Series during a 45-13 season. In 2021, Westmont went 30-22, hosted an NAIA Opening Round and won two games in the tournament.
Prior to Westmont, DeBrouwer spent one season at NCAA Division I Valparaiso University, where he worked with the infielders and served as the program's strength and conditioning coach.
DeBrouwer began his collegiate coaching career at Greenville University in Greenville, Ill., spending two seasons as a graduate assistant coach. His responsibilities included working with the hitters and infielders and overseeing strength and conditioning while also serving as the program's recruiting coordinator. In 2017, he helped Greenville capture a conference championship and set a program single-season record for victories.
DeBrouwer also served as the head coach of the Chesterfield Vipers in the Mid Atlantic Collegiate League, leading the team to a summer league championship in 2018.
A former collegiate player at Whittier College, DeBrouwer earned his bachelor's degree in business administration before receiving a master's degree in education and coaching from Greenville University.
DeBrouwer is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
