CAL STATE STANISLAUS: 2011 — Ross Gonsalves made 25 starts, mostly at shortstop … Batted .284 with eight doubles.  2010 – Played in 35 games as a freshman with 26 starts (24 games at shortstop, two at second base) … Collected 20 hits, five of them doubles.  2009 — Ross Gonsalves was named to the CSU Stanislaus Honor Roll both semesters of 2009 … Redshirt season.

HIGH SCHOOL: Gonsalves was a four-year letterwinner, three-time all-league selection at Hilmar High School, where he played for coach Jon Betschart … In 2008 he was the conference defensive MVP, Modesto Bee all-district honorable mention, all-district, team MVP … Was 2007 team Offensive Player of the year … Also played football and was named 2007 first team all-league defensive back as well as 2007 team offensive player of theyear… Graduated in 2008.
