Biography
PRIOR TO STAN STATE: Gueye is a transfer from Mendocino College where he shot 50% from the field and averaged 6.0 points and 6.2 rebounds per game. He recorded 22 steals, dished out 29 assists and blocked 18 shots for Mendocino this past season. Gueye graduated high school from St. Joseph Notre Dame High School. During his senior season, Gueye averaged 14.2 points and 8.3 rebounds per game. The 2020 Coaches Award recipient shot 65% from the field. He was St. Joseph's Notre Dame High School's co-captain in 2020 and helped lead them to the B.C.L. East League Championship that season.
