Junior College:  Reggie Jones was named the California Community College Co-Player of the Year after his sophomore season at Ohlone College in Hayward … Helped lead Ohlone College to the Elite Eight with a record of 22-4 overall … Averaged 14.5 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 1.8 blocks per game … Shot 61 percent from the field for the 2009-10 season … Transferred in 2010.

HIGH SCHOOL: Jones was the conference’s and team’s most valuable player as a senior at Bayley-Ellard High School in Madison, N.J. … Jones also earned the County’s player of the year award … Graduated in 2005.

PERSONAL: Jones is majoring in theatre … Reginald Jones, son of Yvette Jones and Carson Shearn, was born on Sept. 8, 1986, in Paterson, N.J.
