CARROLL COLLEGE:  Travis Vanderwaal appeared in 14 games at Carroll College, in Montana, for the 2009-10 season … He shot .545 from the floor  and was 5 for 7 on the free throw line … Averaged 1.3 rebounds per game … Transferred in 2010.

JUNIOR COLLEGE:  Vanderwaal played in 26 games at Columbia College as a sophomore … In the 2008-09 season he averaged 6.5 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, and 1.2 blocks per game.

HIGH SCHOOL:  Vanderwaal was named Best Defensive Player by his team at Oakdale High School … Led his team with 35 blocked shots for the 2006-07 season … As a senior he averaged 9.6 points per game and 6.6 rebounds per game … Graduated in 2007.

PERSONAL:  Vanderwaal is majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology … Travis Lee Anthony Vanderwaal, son of Bruce and Danica Vanderwaal, was born June 2, 1989.
