Ian Reis enters his first season as a student assistant coach with the Stan State men's soccer program in 2026 after concluding a decorated collegiate playing career with the Warriors.
Reis capped his playing career in 2025 by earning United Soccer Coaches First Team All-America and First Team All-West Region honors. He also was named First Team All-CCAA, the CCAA Tournament Defensive MVP and to the CCAA All-Tournament Team. Following the season, Reis was selected as the 2025-26 Stan State Male Athlete of the Year.
The Napa, Calif., native started all 20 matches for the Warriors in 2025 and played every minute of the season, logging 1,800 minutes. He finished with one goal and one assist while helping anchor the Stan State back line.
Before joining Stan State, Reis played at Sonoma State, where he earned All-CCAA Honorable Mention honors in 2023. He also spent the 2022 season at Cal State Bakersfield.
Reis has also excelled academically, earning CCAA All-Academic honors and being named to the Stan State Department of Athletics Honor Roll during the Spring 2025, Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 semesters.
A graduate of Vintage High School in Napa, Reis was named the school's Defensive Player of the Year in 2019.
