CAL STATE STANISLAUS: Gurdeep Mann was the team’s second hammer thrower in 2007 with a season best of 125-1 … threw a 149-8 in the javelin and his best toss in the discus was a 114-4.

HIGH SCHOOL: Mann participated in track and field, soccer, football, and basketball at Turlock Christian High School …graduated in 2005.

PERSONAL:  Mann is majoring in physics … favorite book is “Heart of Darkness” … Gurdeep Mann, son of Pritpall Singh Mann and Ranjit Caur, was born on Mar. 6, 1987, in Punjat, India.
