CAL STATE STANISLAUS: Juan Garcia ran the 400 meter dash in 2006 and clocked a season best time of 51.75 … he improved on that mark with a 51.53 in 2007.

HIGH SCHOOL: Garcia was team captain of his track and field team ... earned “Most Valuable Player” award ... was the school’s athlete of the year in 2004 … also captain of soccer team … graduated in 2004.

PERSONAL: Garcia is a physical education major ... Juan Antonio Garcia, son of Jose and Irene Garcia, was born on May 31, 1985.
