CAL STATE STANISLAUS: Ryon Lawson was the team’s top 800-meter run in 2007, turning in a 1:57.69 at the Hornet Invitational in Sacramento … ran a 4:13.12 in the 1500-meter run.
HIGH SCHOOL: Ryon Lawson was on the varsity cross country team for four years at Acalanes high school (Lafayette) …was a team captain his junior and senior year …received coaches award and the Jason Smedley leadership award …holds three cross country records at Acalanes high for the 400m at :51.3, the 800m at 1:59, and the 1600m at 4:24 …graduated in 2006.
