Morgan Balestreri is entering her first season as a Warrior softball student assistant. Prior to the 2017-18 season Balestreri was a four-year starter for Stan State softball.
Balestreri played for coach Jan Schefkowitz from the fall of 2013 to the spring of 2015 before head coach Jessica Ventoza was brought into the program. Balestreri played in over 200 games as a Warrior starting in exactly 200 competitions.Â
During her tenure as an integral member of the Stan State softball program, Balestreri amassed 535 at bats, 153 hits, 77 runs, 42 RBI, and is second in the Warrior record books with 28 sacrifices. She was also a three-time recipient of All-CCAA Academic honors.
Balestreri graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in psychology, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree.
