Riley Holladay

Holladay returned to her alma mater in the Summer of 2023 as an assistant women's basketball coach after spending the past six months as the Director of Storm Nike NV in Reno, Nev., where she coached the 12u and 14u teams.

While a member of the staff at Storm Nike NV, which is an affiliate of Cal Storm EYBL, she coached and developed top middle school talent in the Mountain West Region to compete at top tournaments on the West Coast.

In addition to her being the Director of the Storm Nike in Nevada, Holladay was the Assistant Director and Head Coach of the Nevada Basketball Academy since 2017. As the Head Coach of the Nevada Basketball Academy (Girls’ AAU Program in Reno, Nev.), Holladay coached, trained, and developed top high school prospects in the Northern Nevada area.

From 2019 to 2021, she was the Licensed Social Worker for the Men’s Crossroads Program for the Catholic Charities of Northern Nevada.

Holladay has worked for the Washoe County Department of Juvenile Services from 2018 to 2019. While at Stan State, Holladay was a Group Facilitator for Jessica’s House in Turlock, Calif., from 2015 to 2017.

The Sparks, Nev., native was a member of the Warriors women’s basketball team from 2013 to 2017. She finished her career averaging 8.0 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists and 1.3 steals per game. Holladay is the Warriors’ career leader in starts (105) and games played (109). She finished third in career minutes (3194). The newest member to the Warrior coaching staff, Holladay is fifth (career rebounds, 661), fifth (career assists, 236), eighth (career blocks, 53), ninth (career steals, 140), and 12th (career points, 867) on the Warrior all-time career lists.
