CAL STATE STANISLAUS: 2007 -- Rivera was consistenlty a top-three runner for the Warriors … Her best race came at the SFSU Invitational where she finished 15th in 23:28 for the 6K.

BAKERSFIELD COLLEGE: Rivera finished second at the Southern California finals and eleventh at the state finals in 2005 … in 2006 she finished fifteenth at the state finals … transfered in 2007.

HIGH SCHOOL: Rivera was a two-time MVP for cross country at Delano high school … announced the 2004 Kern County’s All-Area Runner of the Year … Graduated in 2005.

PERSONAL: Rivera is a liberal studies major … her main interest in life is to acheive the goals she sets for herself … Clarissa Camille Rivera, daughter of Samuel and Carolyn Rivera, was born Sept. 1, 1987, in Bakersfield.
