Special attention to individual student-athlete development has been the key to the Cal State Stanislaus women's soccer rise to prominence on and off the field. Jenni Rosenberg, who started coaching with the Warriors in 2009, oversees that development. Her primary focus is on the academic, athletic and personal growth of each individual Warrior student-athlete.
Rosenberg directs the highly successful Operation Graduation initiative started by the women's soccer team in 2009. Since its inception the Warriors have averaged well over a 3.0 team GPA. They have also been recognized with the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) team academic award each year and have won the Cal State Stanislaus Department of Athletics Academic Award on numerous occasions. The program is an innovative and personalized approach to ensuring all student-athletes on the women's soccer team graduate.
On the field Rosenberg is a vital part of the Warriors' success. In addition to her coaching duties she also oversees the team's Athletic Performance Program. This program combines the latest technology and research in sports performance to enhance each player's athletic ability. The program includes strength training, movement training, recovery techniques, flexibility work, injury prevention, injury rehabilitation, and nutrition.
Rosenberg also serves as a mentor to all of the players on the team. Having attended and played at Cal State Stanislaus, she shares her unique perspective with the women on the team. She is very involved in the campus, Turlock and Central Valley communities and organizes the team's community service initiatives known as Warriors Give Back.
Prior to joining the women's soccer staff at Cal State Stanislaus Rosenberg spent over seven years coaching at the club, high school and junior college levels. She was born and raised in Ashland, Oregon and currently resides in Turlock.
