CAL STATE STANISLAUS: This is Bri McClain’s first season on the track team … she is also a forward on the Warriors’ women’s soccer squad … in soccer, led the team with six goals and two assists and now has 9 career goals after two seasons.
HIGH SCHOOL: McClain was team MVP at Deer Valley High in Antioch ... earned Most Valuable Offensive Player, Scholar-Athlete and the Coaches Award ... a two-time first team all-league and a second team all-league award winner ... graduated in 2006.
PERSONAL: A mathematics major ... Briana Denys McClain, daughter of David and Paula McClain, was born on Nov. 13, 1988, in Richmond.
