The Female Breakout Warrior of the Year was Christallynn Tate of volleyball and the Male Breakout Warrior of the Year was Logan Edwards of men’s track and field. Tate put together a standout senior season, earning All-CCAA First Team honors while leading the team with 239 kills, 276 points, and 63 total blocks. Her emergence as the team’s primary offensive option helped power a balanced attack and contributed to the program’s best conference finish in several years.
Edwards had a true breakout campaign in the hammer throw, capturing the CCAA Championship with a mark of 184-0 (56.09m) to earn First Team All-CCAA honors. He consistently performed at a high level against elite competition, including top-six finishes at both the Kim Duyst Invitational and Stanford Invitational. His steady improvement throughout the season elevated him into the top tier of throwers in the West Region and played a key role in the success of the Warriors’ throws group.
