Wild had an impressive weekend at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, Calif., this weekend. She started the weekend improving her NCAA DII provisional time in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:08.76, which placed her 56th in the field consisting of the top runners in NCAA DI, DII, DIII, and NAIA. She is now 16th in the nation, first in the CCAA, and fourth on the Warriors' top ten list. The Warrior sophomore finished the weekend breaking the eleven-year old Stan State record in the 1500-meter run with a NCAA DII provisional time of 4:19.67 in the 1500-meter run, which placed her 28th in the field. She is now sixth in the nation, first in the CCAA and first in the Warrior record books. The previous record was held by current Stan State assistant coach Courtney Heiner (4:20.05).
