Stevie Holguin captured the individual title in the women's 6K at the Kim Duyst Twilight, finishing first overall in 20:41.4 to lead No. 12 Stan State to the team championship. Holguin helped the Warriors score just 22 points and defeat NCAA Division I UC Santa Barbara by 11 points as Stan State placed four runners among the top five and all five scorers in the top nine. The victory continued a strong start to the season for Holguin, who was the top non-Division I finisher at the USF Invitational and was named the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week following that performance.  She once again was named the FloCollege/CCAA Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week for capturing the Kim Duyst
