Avila helped Stan State split its CCAA road weekend, highlighted by the game-winning goal in the Warriors' 2-1 victory at No. 14 Cal State Los Angeles.

With Stan State leading 1-0, Avila scored an unassisted goal in the 69th minute to give the Warriors a two-goal advantage. The goal proved to be the game-winner after Cal State LA scored later in the second half. It was Avila's third goal of the season and second game-winning goal of the year.

The goal was also the 20th of Avila's Warrior career, moving her into a tie for fifth in program history. Her 13th career game-winning goal moved her into sole possession of second place in the Stan State record book.

Avila also played against Cal State San Marcos and finished the two-match weekend with one goal, three shots and two shots on goal over 165 minutes.
