SCHOLAR-ATHLETES
Stan State softball student-athlete Mikaela Ferreira and men's track and field student-athlete Trent Lauderdale are this year's recipients of the Female and Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year. This award goes to the female and male student-athlete that is graduating this academic year with the highest overall GPA.

Ferreira has a 3.91 grade point average and is graduating with a degree in Kinesiology.  She has been named to the CCAA All-Academic Team, CCAA Spring Honor Roll, D2 Academic Achievement, 2023-24 Academic All-District Softball Team, and the Department of Athletics Honor Roll.

Lauderdale has a 3.83 grade point average and is graduating with a degree in Business Administration.  He was just accepted into the MBA Program at Stan State. He was a 2023 USTFCCCA All-American and has received several academic honors during his intercollegiate career as a Warrior.
